BATS Preferences for Intraday Charts
Choose to use default values or bid, ask, or trade or a combination of bid, ask, trade, and settlement. For intraday charts, settlement cannot be selected unless bid, ask, or trade are selected also.
When Use default is selected, the system automatically checks the appropriate boxes (e.g EURUSD all four, but IEURUSD only trade and settlement).
This filter returns to the default when the symbol is changed on a chart.
Constant volume bar, point and figure, and tick charts do not include settlement values.
BATS Preferences for Historical Charts
Choose to use system-wide defaults or settlement and/or last quote of the day.
When use defaults is selected, the system uses the values set in Settlement and Close preferences. Click the System Wide Default button to go to System Preferences > Settlement and Close to change the defaults.
When use defaults is not selected, Last Quote of the Day and Settlement can be used. Choose the priority of the values using the arrow buttons. Then, select which values to use. For example, if Settlement is the top choice and the check box is checked, then Settlement is used, if available. If Settlement is the top choice and the check box is not selected, then Last Quote of the Day is used.
