Split Quote Board, a tabbed window, is a quote board that combines quote data and trading controls in the same style as SnapTrader 2.0.
It was designed with FX traders in mind. The size and highlighting of bid/ask helps traders easily determine the spread between bid and ask, so they can quickly ascertain potential opportunity.
While ideal for FX traders, Split Quote Board can be used with any symbols for any market.
To open Split Quote Board, click the SplitQB button on the application toolbar. If the button is not displayed, click the More button, and then click Split Quote Board. You can also click the Quote button. To add the button to the toolbar, use Toolbar Manager.
The first three quotes on the Split Quote Board are used to name the tab. Use the control button menu to change it.
The colors used on Split Quote Board are consistent with similar applications. For example, net change colors are inherited from Quote Board Colors settings. Delayed symbols are colored yellow.
Price format settings and price display preferences apply.
If best bid and ask are available for an instrument, then best bid/ask price, their volumes, and the spread between best bid and ask is displayed. If best bid and ask are not available, then last trade price or settlement price are used.
