Creating Template Accounts

By creating a template account, you enable the system to add unknown accounts during parsing.

In the event a statement received for parsing includes an unknown account, that account inherits the template account settings, including sales series, customer, and trader.

The presence and enablement of a template account avoids account information being ignored.

Once you have created a template account, contact CQG to enable it. If you require multiple template accounts, speak with a CQG administrator.

To create a template account

1.  Go to Accounts > New Template Account.

2.  Set up the account just as you would for a new individual account.

3.  Click Save.
