Session Timeout After Period of Inactivity

Once a trader is logged onto a trading interface, FCMs may enforce session timeout based on a designated period of inactivity.

Activity is defined as clicking of buttons or typing of text. Simple mouse cursor movement is not activity.

By selecting “session timeout after a period of inactivity” the trader will receive a notification if there is no activity detected on their PC shortly before the session timeout is reached.

If the trader does not respond, the session will close.

Note: Session timeout after a period of inactivity is implemented at the FCM level. All trader accounts liked to the FCM will be subject to session timeout.
