There are several ways to open SnapTrader, both with and without a chart open:
•Trade button on application toolbar
Click the Trade button on the application toolbar, and then click SnapTrader. A chart opens displaying the version of SnapTrader selected in SnapTrader preferences, even if a chart is open already.
•SnapTrader 2 button on application toolbar
Click the SnpTrdr2 button on the application toolbar. A chart opens with SnapTrader 2 displayed, even if a chart is open already.
•SnapTrader button on chart toolbar
Click the SnapTrader button on the chart toolbar. The version of SnapTrader selected in SnapTrader preferences is added to the chart.
To hide the button, right-click it, then click Hide This Button.
•Chart right-click menu
Right-click the chart, then click SnapTrader or SnapTrader 2.
The selection on this menu dictates which version of SnapTrader opens when you click the SnapTrader button.
You can also choose the preferred display in preferences.
When you add SnapTrader to the chart, the Order Book and the Order Display study are added automatically.
If you open SnapTrader and no other trading application is open, the system uses the account last used with SnapTrader. If you open SnapTrader and another trading application is open, the system uses the account from the open trading application. This behavior is standard among all trading applications. To change the account, right-click Order Book to open Account Picker.
To add buttons to the application toolbar, use Toolbar Manager.
To log on to trade
Right-click the SnapTrader button, then click Log On.
To switch between SnapTrader and SnapTrader 2
Right-click the chart, then click SnapTrader or SnapTrader 2.
