The Comprehensive Transaction Platform (CTP) for trading derivatives on the four major Chinese futures exchanges in now accessible through CQG.
CTP is not an exchange, but a trade routing system. Regulations in China require a user to login to CTP.
To access CTP from a CQG client, a user must first login with trading credentials. After successful login to trading, CTP connectable accounts are shown in a "disconnected" status. CTP accounts can connect using CTP credentials.
After successful login to CTP, the account status will be shown as "connected"
Because traders can manage several CTP accounts, there can be instances where some accounts are connected, and some are disconnected. This can be managed in account picker.
Note: Accounts with “Offline” status can’t be connected to CTP
