CQG IC version 2026 can resolve symbols using exchange identifier(s) plus exchange symbol. For each exchange symbol, Market Identifier Code (MIC) is always a valid exchange identifier. In some cases, CQG also supports non-MIC exchange identifiers for more convenient resolution and display.
For example, CQG has defined exchange identifier “CME” for CME Group, which includes MICs XCME, XCBT, XNYM, XCEC, etc. For exchange symbol ZN (the 10-year Treasury Note), both XCBT(ZN) and CME(ZN) will resolve to the 10-year Treasury Note traded on Globex. The resolved symbol will always be shown using the exchange identifier CME, e.g., CME(ZNM6).
This feature is available on the Display tab on the Setup/System Preferences.

Go to the Display tab on the Setup/System Preferences/Display tab and check on “Show Exchange Symbols”.
