Creating a custom account type

Custom account types can be used when you are trading a house account.

They can also be used to designate trades on an exchange that you’re a member of (Exchange A) versus trades on an exchange that you are not a member of (Exchange B). In these cases, the trades are coded differently to the exchange. This ensures that I have member status when trading on Exchange A and standard customer status when I trade on Exchange B.

1.  Go to Accounts > Account Info.

2.  Click the Set per trader+exchange override button.

cast button per trader

3.  Using the drop downs, select the Exchange, Account Type, and Origin.

4.  Click Add. The new override is displayed, like this:

5.  Click Save.

To remove the custom account type, click the REMOVE check box, then click Save.
