Alert Types

Actions are triggered when the Condition Signal is met. Actions are reset when the Restore Signal is met. |

Price |
Actions are triggered when the price of the symbol is higher than the Above price or lower than the Below price. |

Price X Line (Line) |
Actions are triggered when a bar crosses above or below a pointer tool value. |
|
Study |
Actions are triggered when the study value is higher than the Above price or lower than the Below price. |
|
Time |
Actions are triggered at the time set in accordance with date and occurrence parameters. |
|
Trading System (TrSys) |
Actions are triggered when the trading system indicates that a trade should be made. CQG IC only. |

To open the Alerts window, click the Alert button on the application toolbar, then click the type of alert you want to create. If the button is not displayed, click the More button, and then click Alert. Use Toolbar Manager to add the Alert button to the application toolbar.
